Oak Creek Pony Club
FSH is happy to be the home base for Oak Creek Pony Club.
Oak Creek’s connection with FSH puts it in the unique position of being able
to use school horses for children who do not own their own horses. Oak
Creek Pony Club is the only club in Northern Arizona that has this special
capability. You don’t have to own your
own horse to join Oak Creek Pony Club.
Oak Creek Pony Club loves new members.
Oak Creek has an open
membership policy. Open membership means that the club does not limit
the number of members that it will accept and it accepts new members at most
times of the year.
Potential members must be approved by the DC, so a visit with the DC is very
important. The DC will explain about Pony Club and help you decide if Pony
Club is for you.
All of Oak Creek’s instructors have a Pony Club back ground and can get you
started quickly on the path to ratings, if that is your interest. Oak
Creek Pony Club lessons are separate from regular riding lessons at FSH.
Talk with the DC about any lesson fees that apply to members at meetings.
Oak Creek Pony Club has held many different activities from rallies, camps,
Quiz, Everything But The Horse, Horse management sleep-overs, trail rides,
jumping clinics, horse whisperer clinics, games clinics, game days, ratings
preps, ratings and Pony Club parties.
